Rio Olympic test for World Rowing Cup finals at Lucerne
The Olympics were amongst the thoughts of everyone at the World Rowing Cup II in Lucerne, Switzerland as the day of finals got underway. This would be the last major race for some of these athletes before the Rio Olympics and racing was intense with World Champions often being pushed out of the top spot. Still consistency reigned for some - the New Zealand men's pair and the Croatian men's double sculls.
The weather changed throughout the day of racing, with rain pouring down at some points and the slight wind shifting from head to tail and back again.
