• Competed in three Olympic Games, Olympic gold medallist
• 4^th place at 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games, bronze medal at 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games and gold medal at 2000 Sydney Olympic Games
• Five World Championship medals: two gold in 1993 (M4-) and 1997 (M2-), two silver in 1994 (M4-) and 1999 (M2-) and one bronze in 1995 (M2-)

• After three Olympics as an athlete and two more as FISA Official, Rolland managed the partnership between EDF and the Organising Committee of London 2012.

• Master’s degree, Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering – ESCPE Lyon (Ecole Superieure de Chimie Physique Electronique) 1991.

Professional Career

• Recruited in 1993 by EDF Nuclear Division, one of the world’s leading electric utility companies
• Ten years as an engineer in nuclear power plants
• Deputy Director of local authorities market segment and then HR Director of a strategic regional unit
• Management of the EDF partnership with London Olympic Games
• International Department (Continental Europe Division)
