The World Rowing Federation, FISA, wishes to advise international media that accreditation is now open for the 2016 World Rowing season.

This season includes:

·         World Rowing Cup I 15-17 April, Varese, ITA        

·         European Rowing Championships 6-8 May, Brandenburg, GER

·         Final Olympic Qualification Regatta 22-24 May, Lucerne, SUI

·         World Rowing Cup II 27-29 May, Lucerne, SUI

·         World Rowing Cup III 16-19 June, Poznan, POL

·         World Rowing Senior, Under 23, Junior Championships 21-28 August, Rotterdam, NED

·         World Rowing Coastal Championships 21-23 October, Monaco, MON

As this is an Olympic year, the World Rowing Championships in Rotterdam will include all senior non-Olympic boat classes. It is also combined with the World Rowing Junior Championships and the World Rowing Under 23 Championships.

Accreditation for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games is administered by the Rio Organising Committee.

Para-rowing will take place at World Rowing Cup III in Poznan, Poland beginning on 16 June 2016.

At World Rowing regattas a fully equipped media centre will be available.

The World Rowing website, www.worldrowing.com,  is the main communications channel for all rowing related information including; event dedicated page, entries, results and related advisories, race reports, live race tracker, audio commentary, photos, feature stories, athlete biographies and live blog.
