Smashing the World Best Times on the Bosbaan
Finals continued at the 2014 World Rowing Championships in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Today's menu included eight boat classes racing for World Championship titles. These crews faced rather bumpy water with tail wind conditions that saw very fast and six new World Best Times being set.
New Zealand started out by creating the standard in the first final of the day. They shattered the women's four World Best Time by 11 seconds. World Best Times were also set in the men's coxed pair, lightweight men's single sculls, lightweight men's pair and the lightweight men's and women's quadruple sculls.
