Lord Coe, the Head of the London Organising Committee for the Olympic Games (an Olympic Champion in athletics and former politician), was joined by several other politicians with a sporting connection, including Lithuania’s Klemensas Rimšelis, Australia’s Katy Lundy and New Zealand’s Murray McCully, who are all Minsters for Sport. Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark, who is a keen sailor and marathon runner, was also seen.

The British Prime Minister, David Cameron, and the British Minister for Tourism and Heritage, John Penrose, were also in attendance.
The Princess Royal of British royal family returned to the Dorney having visited yesterday. This time she brought along her younger brother, Prince Andrew Duke of York.
