The World Rowing Federation, FISA, wishes to advise international media about the information available for the 2018 World Rowing Cup II in Linz-Ottensheim, Austria.

This is the second World Rowing Cup of the 2018 season in the series of three and it will take place from 22-24 June 2018. Please note original dates included 21 June, but an updated entry schedule allowed for racing to start on 22 June. The media guide is now available here. It includes a Who to Watch for the Olympic and Paralympic boat classes, media information, a review of the season so far and useful statistics.

The World Rowing website, www.worldrowing.com will be the main channel containing:

·         Entries, results, and related PDFs

·         Race reports

·         Live race tracker

·         Audio commentary 

·         Photos

·         Live blog

Live video coverage will be available on the website from 15:00 CET on Saturday 23 June starting with the para-rowing finals. They will then begin at 9:35 CET on Sunday 24 June with the finals for the Olympic boat classes.

World Rowing also posts information on its social media channels. The official Twitter account of World Rowing is @WorldRowing. The official hashtag for the event is #WRCLinz or #WorldCup. Athletes and fans are encouraged to tweet messages of support using the official hashtag.

2018 European Championships

Please note that media accreditation for the 2018 European Championships closes on 1 July 2018. Accreditation is through the local organisers, here. Rowing has united with other sports for 2018 as part of the multi-sport European Championships. Rowing will take place in Strathclyde, Glasgow from 2-5 August 2018.
