The World Rowing Federation, FISA, wishes to advise international media about information available for the 2017 World Rowing Cup II in Poznan, Poland.

This is the second World Rowing Cup of the 2017 season in the series of three and it will take place from 16-18 June 2017. The media guide is now available here. It includes a Who to Watch for all of the Olympic boat classes and para-rowing boat classes. It also contains media information, a review of the 2017 season so far and useful statistics.

The World Rowing website, will be the main channel containing:

·         Entries, results, and related PDFs

·         Race reports

·         Live race tracker

·         Audio commentary 

·         Photos

·         Live blog

The racing draw will take place 15 June at 3pm CET and will be live streamed on World Rowing’s Facebook page:

Live video coverage will be available on the World Rowing website for the Olympic boat class A-finals (also women’s four). These begin at 10:35 CET on Sunday 18 June and the last final starts at 13:48.

World Rowing also posts information on its social media channels. The official Twitter account of World Rowing is @WorldRowing. The official hashtag for the event is #WRCPoznan or #WorldCup. World Rowing will provide updates, video, photos and short commentary via Twitter, Facebook and Instagram @WorldRowingOfficial. Athletes and fans are encouraged to tweet messages of support using the official hashtag.
