The World Games is a multisport event organised every four years for sports that are not currently in the Olympic Games. The next World Games is in Wroclaw, Poland. For the first time, indoor rowing will be included as a demonstration sport, giving the rowing world the opportunity to find the world’s fastest indoor rowers over both 2000m and 500m distances. Indoor rowing will take place on 26-27 July 2017.

So far over 15,000 competitors from more than 26 nations have sent in times to the Concept2 logbook, to aim for qualification.  The logbook has ranked the times and already 17 women’s times are below the seven minute mark for 2000m.
