To mark and applaud the best in rowing for the year, we will be celebrating all winners at a gala evening on Friday, 23 November 2018 in Berlin, Germany.

And we want to hear from you.

On 17 September 2018 – following the conclusion of the World Rowing Championships – we will open up the nomination process for you to tell us who was the best in 2018. Making a nomination will be easy, using individual online forms on the World Rowing website.

We also have an additional award for 2018 – the World Rowing Sustainability Award. (click here for full story). This marks World Rowing’s ongoing commitment to environmentally sustainable practices and our respect for the environment of which rowing is so much a part.

So, start thinking about who you would like to nominate.

–          Thomas Keller Medal – outstanding career in rowing

–          World Rowing Male crew of the Year – top male crew or rower of the year

–          World Rowing Female crew of the Year – top female crew or rower of the year

–          World Rowing Para crew/rower of the Year – top para-rower or crew of the year

–          World Rowing Coach of the Year – top coach of the year

–          World Rowing Distinguished Service to International Rowing – outstanding contribution to international rowing

–          Filippi Spirit Award – university rower who demonstrates the core values of rowing

–          World Rowing Sustainability Award – individual, club, event or organisation that delivers exemplary sustainable practices on an ongoing basis
