This two-year partnership, which was signed earlier in the week, brings together two very different organisations that have found unity in their key values and environmental objectives, particularly in World Rowing's Clean Water initiative.  

On the occasion of the third and final regatta of the 2013 Samsung World Rowing Cup III, in Lucerne, Switzerland, the car manufacturer will host their own finals of the BMW Clean Water Business & Diplomatic Regatta. Now in its third year, and sanctioned by World Rowing in support of its own Strategic Alliance with WWF, the World Wide Fund for Nature, this business to business regatta comprises a high-level forum on sustainable development, a rowing instruction course for the participating companies culminating in a 250m sprints race.
