Contest Description

Each month, World Rowing selects the "best rowing photo of the month" from the favourite rowing photos submitted by rowing fans around the world. At the end of the year, World Rowing will choose the "best rowing photo of the year" from the 12 monthly winners. These photos will be published in the online photo gallery of www.worldrowing.com and in World Rowing e-Magazine.

Conditions

To be taken into consideration, the following information should be submitted along with the photo:

  • Name of photographer / copyright
  • Photo title
  • Photo description (at least indicating place, date and name of people pictured)

Please make sure the photo format matches the following requirements:

  • Size: approx. 450px wide
  • Resolution: approx. 72 dpi
  • Format: ideally JPEG

Only amateur rowing photos are eligible for competition. Photos from professional rowing photographers will not be taken into consideration. By "professional rowing photographer" we mean anyone whose main source of revenue is rowing and sports photography.

Only photos submitted by their owner will be accepted.

How to submit a photo

Please send your photo by e-mail to Débora FEUTREN, FISA's Web & Publications Ediitor and mention "Rowing Photo Contest" in the subject field. (Débora's e-mail address is structured as follows: givenname.familyname@fisa.org)
