The 2020 World Rowing Beach Sprint Finals and Coastal Championships regattas in Oeiras, POR, is cancelled on the planned dates in September/October 2020 and will be staged as the 2021 WRBSF and WRCC in October 2021 (exact dates to be confirmed).

ENTRY FEE

Please note that an entry fee of 35 EUR per rowing seat (no seat fees for coxswains) will be introduced for all events at the 2020 WRCC. The fee will be used for a contribution towards the operational costs of race organization (for e.g. safety cover, timing and results service, medals, volunteer insurance, boat stickers and race course infrastructure). 5 EUR from the seat fee will be donated to support coastal rowing development programs. More information on the payment procedure will be announced soon.

 

ABOUT THE VENUE

The World Rowing Coastal Championships will take place in Praia da Torre (“Tower beach”) which is recognized by its sea water quality and has been awarded a blue flag. This eco label award ensures the sea water is analyzed regularly and acknowledges the excellent quality of the water. Please click here to see the location of the venue on Google Maps.
