New Zealand shines at third World Rowing Cup
The final World Rowing Cup for 2018 concluded on the Rotsee in Lucerne, Switzerland with a day of finals. As has been the case over the three days of racing, the water was flat, temperatures were mild and spirits were high.
As the temperatures rose into the high 20s Celsius, the lightweight rowers in Lucerne, Switzerland raced for World Rowing Cup points and World Rowing Cup medals. This was World Rowing Cup III. The third and final World Cup for the 2018 season.
The third and final World Rowing Cup for 2018 moved on to day two with the semifinals being raced. The Rotsee venue in Lucerne, Switzerland turned on perfect rowing conditions at the start of the day. The water was flat, the temperatures moderate and no wind in sight.
It is not surprising that rowers love the Rotsee regatta course. World Rowing Cup III has begun with a day of heats on Lucerne’s magical Rotsee in Switzerland. The water conditions were ideal with flat water complimented by sunny skies and mild temperatures.
