Rowing wraps up at Glasgow’s European Championships
The anticipation at Strathclyde Country Park in Glasgow was high for the last day of finals at the 2018 European Championships for rowing. The conditions started with a small cross wind which turned to a small tail wind in time for the finals. The sun had broken through the clouds and temperatures were warm.
The first medals got handed out and the first 2018 European Champions in rowing got crowned today at Strathclyde Country Park in Glasgow. It opened with a new European Best Time in the lightweight men's quadruple sculls. This time was achieved in calm conditions with a very small cross tail wind.
The 2018 European Championships in Glasgow completed the semifinal round with great conditions of almost flat water and mild temperatures.
