HOW TO ENTER

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Travel Health Insurance

It is a requirement that every competitor and team official participating in the 2015 World Rowing Coastal Championship complies with FISA Rule 22 - Insurance:  "Each member federation shall ensure that each competitor and team official has adequate medical and accident insurance as well as insurance covering liability, property and equipment."

For that reason, every competitor and team official, including FISA and NTOs,  must carry at the time of arrival to Peru a valid International Travel Health Insurance in order to cover any medical services costs that may be incurred by the participant during the length of event.

How to enter

Follow the check list below to make an entry:

  1. Clubs fill out the entry form here
  2. Your National Federation will receive a copy in their email.
  3. The National Federations must rank each club crew, approve and submit to FISA – via Daniela Oronova (daniela.oronova@fisa.org)
  4. All Athletes fill out "Athlete Commitment Form" and "Biography Form" below.

ELIGIBILITY

The World Rowing Coastal Championships are open to crews nominated by their National Federations.
To compete in a World Rowing Coastal Championship regatta, a competitor shall be a member of a club recognised by their National Federation.

Solo    (C1x)
Double    (C2x)
Coxed Quadruple Sculls   (C4x+)

World Rowing Coastal Championships boat classes
Men    (M)    C1x, C2x, C4x+
Women     (W)     C1x, C2x, C4x+

Currently the age categories for rowers recognised by World Rowing Coastal Rowing are Seniors only. A special Masters Regatta will take place just before the World Rowing Coastal Rowing event start to encourage Master to race in coastal events.

ABOUT THE VENUE

 

The venue for the 2015 WRCC is located in the Chorrillos district, a historic part of town located just south of downtown Lima. It is located on the coast overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

The headquarters of the event will be the “Regatas Lima” club, which was founded by rowers back in 1875 and is now one of the biggest clubs in Peru with a strong investment in Olympic sports. The club has the ideal infrastructure to host this championship, with several beaches, boating facilities, swimming pools, restaurants and other seating areas.
