A European Champs of Best Times

The 2014 season continued with great gusto at the European Rowing Championships with European Best Times falling like flies on the waters of Sava Lake in Belgrade, Serbia. The cool conditions with a westerly wind causing tail wind conditions helped the athletes shoot down the course at a rapid pace.

The standard overall at this regatta was extremely high as European Nations have now embraced the European Championships and see it as an important part of the rowing calendar.

European Champ B Finals continue the speed trend

Finals day at the 2014 European Rowing Championships in Belgrade, Serbia used the B Finals as a warm up to the main A Finals. Using the tail wind conditions these rowers recorded speedy times on the waters of Sava Lake.

In cool conditions these athletes wrapped up their European Championships with times that any international rower would be envious of. From now on Belgrade is likely to be stuck with the reputation of being a fast 2000m ride.
