The events offered at the European Rowing Championships are:
Men (M) 1x, 2x, 2-, 4x, 4-, 8+
Women (W) 1x, 2x, 2-, 4x, 8+
Lightweight men (LM) 2x, 4-
Lightweight women (LW) 2x -
Eligibility
All European Member National Federations plus Israel should be eligible to compete in the European Rowing Championships. An athlete must present a valid passport from the country for which he wishes to compete (as per FISA rules).

Greece are an increasingly competitive rowing nation, enjoying much success at World Rowing Cups, World Rowing Championships and the European Championships in recent years.

About the venue
The Schnias Olympic Rowing and Canoeing Centre wasd built to host the rowing and canoe sprint events at the 2004 Oylmpic Summer Games in Athens, Greece. The man-made, FISA aprroved venue also hosted the 2003 Junior World Rowing Championships.
