Eligibility
World Rowing Championships are open to all member federations. A rower may compete in an Under 23 rowing event until 31st of December of the year in which he reaches the age of 22.

About the Regatta Course
Hazewinkel is a 2000m, eight lane rowing and regatta course which has hosted national and international competitions for many years. It hosted the World Rowing Championships in 1980 and 1985, and the World Rowing Junior Championships in 1997. As well as hosting national competitions, the Great British national final trials are also usually held there .
