The World Rowing Federation, FISA, wishes to advise international media that accreditation is now open for the 2017 World Rowing regatta season.

This season includes:

  • World Rowing Cup I    5-7 May   Belgrade, SRB   
  • European Rowing Championships    26-28 May  Racice, CZE
  • World Rowing Cup II    16-18 June   Poznan, POL
  • World Rowing Cup III    7-9 July  Lucerne, SUI
  • World Rowing Under 23 Championships   19-23 July  Plovdiv, BUL
  • World Rowing Junior Championships  2-6 August  Trakai, LTU
  • World Rowing Championships  24 Sept-1 Oct    Sarasota-Bradenton, USA
  • World Rowing Coastal Championships  13-15 October  Thonon, FRA

This post-Olympic year will see a rebuilding of teams with potential for some new names to shine through. The World Rowing Junior Championships will also act as a qualification regatta for the 2018 Youth Olympic Games, YOG. The World Rowing Championships return to the United States for the first time in 23 years. Para-rowing will take place at World Rowing Cup II in Poznan, Poland and the World Rowing Championships in Sarasota-Bradenton, Florida, United States.

At all World Rowing regattas a fully equipped media centre will be available.

The World Rowing website, www.worldrowing.com,  is the main communications channel for rowing related information including; event dedicated page, entries, results and related advisories, race reports, live race tracker, audio commentary, photos, feature stories, athlete biographies and live blog.
